The weekend is a time when everyone looks forward to seeing their friends and family. A weekend to unwind after a long week at work is always necessary. Today is Sunday, and the weather is not conducive to outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. So I decided to meet up with some old classmates from high school for coffee. This is the first time we have gotten together to talk since our class reunion after the Tet holiday. Following the meeting, nearly half of the participants tested positive for covid. That's also why we only recently reconnected after a long absence.
Where is the coffee shop?
We discussed and agreed on a convenient location for all members to travel to. Tung Cafe is our top recommendation. Because the majority of the members live and study in the Hoa Khanh area, this location is ideal and suitable. Hoa Minh 25, Lien Chieu district, is the address of the coffee shop. A location that Hoa Khanh students are very familiar with. This is a new cafe that just opened. And it attracts a large number of customers due to the unique style of the shop. The coffee shop is both semi-classical and contemporary. Furniture ranging from tables and chairs to decorative items is very appealing.
The shop's main entrance is adorned with a magnificent bougainvillea. Perhaps the designer or owner had to put in a lot of effort to bend and shape the tree trunk in order to have such a lovely gate. Pink and white flowers alternate. To be honest, I used to believe that confetti only came in one color, pink, but after talking with some friends, I realized that confetti comes in a variety of colors.
Yellow lights are arranged throughout the coffee shop to create a cozy and familiar space for customers. Our conversation becomes a lot more interesting as a result of this factor. We talked about a lot of things and then forgot about them. Some people discuss their plans for the coming months, while others struggle to complete their CVs, and others are preoccupied with course projects. Everyone appears to be preoccupied with their own lives. We were like stranded fish who couldn't jump back into the lake as the pace of life accelerated. Looking around at my peers, I began to reconsider my plans.
This shop's coffee is also not very good for a regular coffee drinker like me. I like iced black coffee better than milk coffee. Each type of coffee has its own meaning. Milk coffee has a flavor that is both sweet and bitter, similar to a life blend. And black coffee exudes authority, strength, and resolve. However, if you don't drink iced black coffee on a regular basis, it's easy to get coffee drunk quickly.
After 3 hours of talking, we decided to eat lunch somewhere. Barbecue is a dish that everyone enjoys. We had a wonderful weekend together. Thank you so much to my friends who have stood by me and listened to my bad news. And I'd like to thank them once more for providing me with the best advice for dealing with my stress.
