When we hear the term "weekend", there is always something to look forward to, especially to people who are already employed and only have their resting days during Saturday or Sunday. With this, most of them are making sure that they will spend every minute of it whether laying in bed all day, or trying adventures or a quick staycation.
As from the last weekend we had, we are not different from those who enjoyed the days outside their home. We were also able to go to the beach, watch the sunset, and feel the sand in our feet. Are you curious on how we spent our weekend the last time? Here's a blog to recap what we experienced and enjoyed!
It was a Sunday morning when we felt like we wanted to go somewhere instead of just staying at home. Since we are in the province, it is not really hard to think of a good place to visit, as we have a lot of choices from beaches, mountains, parks, or even a public food court. But, we chose to visit the beach instead. After the final decision-making on where to go, we already prepared ourselves and took our motorcycle for a ride.

It took us a few minutes of ride, before we finally got into the coastal of San Miguel Beach, in San Antonio. There are also other people waiting for the sunset there, and some are just enjoying the good foods with the sight of the ocean.

When we got there, the sun is starting to set so we had to rush in buying foods. Luckily, there are different stores selling various street foods around. We grabbed this chance and chose to look for the best food and drinks we will bring with us in the seashore.

After waiting for a few minutes while the stalls cook and prepare the foods and drinks that we ordered, we finally had them served to us. We had milk shakes, fries, shawarma, and more. And they were already enough for us.
We already started walking in the sand, and looked for a spot where we could sit down and watch the sunset. And finally, we are able to choose a good place. We started eating the foods we bought, and our most favorite was the shawarma. While eating, we noticed that the sky is already showing brilliant hues of orange.
The sight of the beach is amazing, but what caught our attention even more is the people with family and friends, enjoying the moment. They were having conversations, swimming — in short, they're having fun.
Being at the beach last Sunday was indeed great. It felt like an escape to the reality of life where work-life balance doesn't seem to meet. But we are lucky to get a chance to at least enjoy once in a while.

A nice Sunday you had by the beach. We live really close to the seashore, but we see the sunrise and not the sunset. The food you had also looks tasty 😉
