After 5 months of his work contract to ride a vessel, my boyfriend finally went home. It may look like a very long time for others, but for us, time moved really fast and didn’t notice the passing days of not being together. The reason for that is because they have an internet connection on his boarded ship, making it possible for us to communicate everyday and easily see each other through a video call.

We were both excited to hear the news that he’ll finally go home. We can once again see and hug each other. No more sanaol hahahahaha 🥲.

We’ve been a couple for almost 3 years ❤️ now and I must say that being in a long distance relationship was never a hindrance for us to stay in love with one another. We had our fair share of problems, but we were able to overcome all together. He’s the one that made me trust another person (aside from my family) once again. I really had a difficulty of doing so because of my past relationship. He helped me overcome my trust issues and I’m so thankful for that.

SEAMANLOLOKO. A famous word in the Philippines. A combination of two words, seaman + manloloko 😅. Manloloko is a Filipino word for making a fool out of you/trick or cheat on you. But I firmly believe that it’s not on the profession but on the person. It’s up to you if you’ll give in to temptation or not. I’m really thankful to God for giving me what I hoped for, someone that will love me unconditionally. So yes, let’s get back to the good news 😅.

A BIRTHDAY GIFT AT BAYFRONT HOTEL

His flight is from St. Thomas to New York to Turkey and finally to Manila, Philippines. Such a coincidence because his birthday is on April 5 and at the same time, it was the day the he went down from the ship signally the end of his contract. Good thing that his swab test result came out negative, making his journey going home possible.

I wasn’t able to give him gifts for quite some time so, I booked a room for us at Bayfront Hotel.

We can stay at this place for days and it’s a convenient location because it’s near SM City Cebu.

I searched for hotel booking websites such as agoda, bayfront’s site itself, etc. I found the cheapest rate at Traveloco of a room good for two people with free buffet breakfast at ₱2,022 or around 40 USD per night at Bayfront. He arrived in Manila evening of April 7 and had a scheduled trip going here to Cebu at 2pm the next day. Even though his trip is still at 2pm in Manila, I already am waiting for him at Cebu Airport as early as 1pm 😁.

I can still remember two years ago when instead if me waiting for him at the airport, he arrived without me arriving yet. I made him wait long but I didn’t mean it.

That’s why this time around, I’ll do it properly 😆.

He arrived at around 3:40pm. I’m so happy to see him again 😊. We went straight to the hotel to place our things and rest for a while hahaha.

After some time, we went to SM Cebu to have our dinner at Kuya J. I wasn’t able to take pics of the place and the food because we went there almost closing time already at 9pm. But I was able to take pics of him ❤️.

I’m so in love with this man and fell in love once again after seeing him. We dropped by a 7/11 convenience store to buy some ice cream 🍦.

Morning came and we ate our breakfast buffet at the hotel.

Then by lunch, we ate at Gerry’s Grill because my boyfriend has been craving for their tofu for long already and wanted to try it with me again.

Sadly, he was disappointed at what was served because to him, it’s not the same as the one he tried at the Manila branch. But nevertheless, the food their are all delicious 👌.

We played pingpong thereafter 🏓. We made an agreement that whoever loses the game will be the one to pay for the dinner.

I was kinda confident with my skills but was shocked that he’s more good at it. Wasn’t expecting him to be this good 😮.

He defeated me in pingpong which made me pay for the dinner again hahahaha. I think dasurv.

So yes, I’m also the one who decided where to eat at for dinner because I’m also craving for something 😅. I was craving for the cheese at Fatdois and it’s been months since the last time I ate there. But, things didn’t go out as planned. After pingpong, we went back to the hotel and we rested for a while.

But he woke up around 8pm already and that’s okay because his body is still adjusting. I don’t want to wake him up because he needs that rest. Ending, I ordered through food delivery app at Jollibee haha.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel and he paid for the extension night for ₱2600 or 52 USD. We paid more because we paid at the hotel directly. Then after paying, we later realized that we should’ve just booked online again so that we paid less again hahahaha. Anyway, we still had fun all throughout our stay.

Next time I’m going to share here our next day’s activities, together with his family. See you. 😁
