Regarding the weekend's topic : Favourite Transport, it's very fantastic and fun for me to share about the most popular vehicle in my country: MOTORBIKE

The traffic at a roundabout in HCM at rush hour when I was having dinner at a fast-food store.

In Vietnam, more than 90% of the population uses a motorbike, that's why when it comes to vehicles- we are told "if you don't own a motorbike, you are not a Vietnamese". (There are 7 members in my family but we have 8 motorbikes πŸ˜ƒ). Motorbikes are present in all corners of the country, from urban areas to rural areas, from mountainous regions to regions, in the busiest cities to remote villages. The motorcycle's presence is so widespread that it is hard to deny it if it is a cultural trait.

Motorbikes are considered a specialty in Vietnam and accidentally form advantages or disadvantages. Because it is too compact and easy to maneuver, the user can run to the side and go if it is stuck in traffic. Or go in the opposite direction to facilitate crossing. Personal indiscipline is formed from there. Because motorcycles are easy to stop, when they suddenly see a row of cakes or a cafΓ©, people can suddenly stop and buy. This disregard for the safety of other people only thinks of their convenience if riding a bus or tram will not have the opportunity to show.

The arbitrary cessation of motorbikes left the little stalls on the roadside, contributing to the chaos of the sidewalk that the government could not manage. In a civilized city, office workers like to wear office dresses or elegant suits and a variety of fashion styles that show the aesthetic of the indigenous population. In Vietnam, when going to the street, women have to wrap themselves around with sunscreen coats, gloves, and socks to protect themselves from the sun; the boys are sweating in the 40-degree sun, everyone has only a quick way to get there. They need it; there's no time to think about fashion, street art probably won't have a chance to act.

Do you see the white tiny line on the right of the picture? It's the Ha Giang Loop~~ one of the most dangerous roads in Viet Nam. It was amazing to drive here by motorbike if you are an adventurous soul πŸ˜ƒ

However, the motorbike is my favorite transport here in Viet name for many reasons. It's very convenient; you can go through narrow roads, stop anywhere, and go anywhere. One of the main advantages is that motorcycles are cheaper than cars, and gasoline prices for motorbikes are also lower. Young people who are just starting to work without a lot of money can afford to buy motorbikes. Even people sitting in school can buy a car with help from parents or money from a part-time job.

What a feeling !!! when you drive all the way up and enjoy the spectacular scenery πŸ˜ƒ. Totally worth it

If you plan to make a road trip through the whole of Viet Nam, the motorbike is highly recommended to explore the country and Γs bΓ©st suited for driving narrow winding and uphill roads. It would be fun and great to experience at least once in one's life. Give it a go, and I'm sure you will love it. It is also a great way to improve your driving skills. Once you can maneuver the crazy and hectic traffic here, you can drive anywhere in the world. πŸ˜ƒ

What is your favorite transport? πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ‡πŸπŸ›΅πŸš²πŸ›΄πŸ›ΊπŸš•

What a beautiful country, love the photos! Good to see that the people have an easy way to get around. I didn't know Vietnam was so hilly, usually the pictures you see are of cityscapes, so maybe that's why. Have a great weekend! :)

Hi @evernoticethat, thanks for checking out and the reblog. Seems you like the photos so I will add more πŸ˜ƒ There many hilly parts in the country especially in the north. Yea, we do have cityscapes but there are many stunning mountain and countrysides scenes here. I guess you will like it.
Glad you enjoy the article 😍
Have a wonderful weekend there and stay safe :))

Beautiful πŸ’—πŸ₯°

Hihi thank you @prakshsingh. Have a great weekend :)

Sending scooty

Crazyyy :D How about normal bikes? Are they also popular in your country? They have some of advantages of the motorbikes but they are cheaper, eco friendly and good for your health! :)

Yea It's very hectic and crazy but would be fun to experience. Very an annoying culture that many foreign tourists need to adapt to once in Viet Nam πŸ˜ƒ
Yes we do have modern busses with air-conditioning but you know we still prefer using a motorbike πŸ™‚. It's so convenient and quick :))
Have a great weekend @phortun πŸ’˜

I asked about bikes, not buses :D

Oh yeah πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ƒ yes we do have bicycles but not popular as motorbike, nowadays people getting lazy to use it. :)

I remember when I was over there I couldn't believe my eyes I thought I was getting attacked my a mountain of ants...🀣

Crossing the roads was like playing chicken with the motorbikes very chaotic but all knew there direction very intriguing to watch like playing a computer game...lol 🀣

Haha yeah. I know your feeling πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚ All vehicles coming from all directions, don't wait for them to give you way or you just stand there until midnight πŸ€ͺ😜πŸ₯΄

So true I was actually jumping over bikes and cars like in the cartoons it worked 🀣🀣

I imagined myself on the Ha Giang Loop road. How good it is to ride a motorbike in the middle of such a magnificent natural panorama! Very amazing! I could be very at home there.😊

I'm proud of myself when completing Ha Giang Loop !!
