A coastal lagoon, a salt-water puddle connected to the sea off the Ulee Lheue beach, is located in Lambung village, Meuraxa, Banda Aceh. On weekends, the west side of the lagoon's mouth is a crowd with tourists, and the place is also visited every afternoon. But, I don't always enjoy crowds and prefer a quieter environment. Therefore, the fishing port pier is a better option for me to avoid the crowds.
Lambung Kuliner is the only cafe on the fishing port pier, the special menu is seafood. My friend @benk07 and I enjoyed a cup of coffee mixed milk while esteeming the open view of the moored fishing boats.
Then, before sunset, we had tom yum seafood for dinner.
Towards sunset, we walked to the edge of the lagoon, or more precisely, to the pier of the fishing boat harbor. The desire to enjoy the sunset, but black clouds cover the golden hour light. It doesn't matter, though, because it's a pleasant, soothing environment.
From here, you can view the west side of the lagoon's mouth, a bustling area lit up by the lights of the cafes along the lagoon's edge.
I took some photos of the dock after it got dark.
It is, in my opinion, one of the best sunset point view places in Banda Aceh, especially on weekends when you don't want to be surrounded by people.
We stopped at the cafe before heading home and had a cup of milk coffee once again. "Don't forget to promote my cafe!" stated the cafe owner as he allowed me to shoot some photos.
