I wonder how the world would be without electricity, running water, law and order. Anyways I don't wish to see the post apocalyptic world but just incase there are three skills which I feel is very important to have.
*Survival Skills: The ability to survive in the wilderness is paramount. This includes knowledge of how to find and purify water from natural sources like rivers, lakes, and rain, as well as foraging for edible plants and hunting or fishing for food. Basic first aid skills are also crucial for treating injuries and illnesses in the absence of medical facilities. Also knowing how to build shelters using natural materials and start fires without matches or lighters is essential for protection from the elements and maintaining warmth.
*Self-defense Skills: In a lawless society where chaos reigns, the ability to defend oneself and one's resources becomes vital. Learning self-defense techniques such as hand-to-hand combat, use of improvised weapons, and strategies for evading or confronting threats can mean the difference between life and death. Also, developing situational awareness and the ability to assess risks and escape dangerous situations can help avoid confrontations whenever possible.
*Resourcefulness and Adaptability: In the absence of modern conveniences, resourcefulness and adaptability become indispensable traits. Being able to improvise solutions to unexpected challenges using whatever tools or materials are available is essential for overcoming obstacles and making the most of limited resources. This includes skills such as basic carpentry, metalworking, and mechanical repair, as well as the ability to repurpose everyday items for new uses. Flexibility and the willingness to learn new skills or adapt to changing circumstances are key to thriving in a world where the old rules no longer apply.
