Excellent weekend full of music and the good musical genre Metal, all because yesterday Saturday February 26th, a new edition of the musical festival Gillmanfest was held, celebrating 45 years of musical career of the founder of this festival Paul Gillman, who of course would make his presentation with his band Gillman, with Heavy Metal musical style in Spanish, and who has been recognized nationally in the country Venezuela, and some Latin American nations.
This event was held in the municipality of Naguanagua in the state of Carabobo - Venezuela, very close to where I live, which was perfect for me to move and not miss the opportunity to enjoy good music and take some pictures. I had not attended a musical event like this for a long time, all due to the pandemic and also because of the economic crisis in the country, which for years ago, the musical events of this magnitude were reduced, even we have not seen an international musical artist as part of his tour in Venezuela for a long time.
Excelente fin de semana llena de música y del buen género musical Metal, todo debido a que ayer sábado 26 de febrero, se realizó una nueva edición del festival musical Gillmanfest, celebrando los 45 años de trayectoria musical del fundador de este festival Paul Gillman, que por supuesto haría su presentación con su banda Gillman, con estilo musical Heavy Metal en español, y quien ha sido reconido nacionalmente en el país Venezuela, y algunas naciones latinoamericanas.
Dicho evento se realizó en el municipio Naguanagua del estado Carabobo - Venezuela, muy cerca donde yo vivo, lo cual fue perfecto para trasladarme y no perder la oportunidad de disfrutar de buena música y sacar algunas fotografías. Hecho que tenía tiempo que no asistía a un evento musical como este, todo debido a la pandemia y por otra parte por oa crisis económica del país, que desde hace años atrás, se reducieron los eventos musicales de esta envergadura, incluso tenemos tiempo que no vemos un artista musical internacional, que tenga como parte de su gira a Venezuela.

The musical line-up included the participation of 13 bands, in their different styles within the great family branch of Rock, from Alternative Rock, Hard Rock, Folk Rock, Psychedelic Music, Death Metal and Heavy Metal, among a wide variety of musical genres for all the tastes of the entire audience.
Among the bands that performed at this musical venue, we can mention Kasino, La Tinta, Odin, Frailes, Legacy, Sinfra, Sky White Meditation, Gus Guru SN, Trilogía, Death Mortor, Local S, Horus and Gillman, all with excellent presentations and good sound for the enjoyment of all who attended the musical event.
Dentro del cartel musical, contó con la participación de 13 bandas musicales, en sus diferentes estilos dentro de la gran rama familiar del Rock, desde Rock alternativo, Hard Rock, Folk Rock, música psicodélica, Death Metal y Heavy Metal, entre un gran variedad de géneros musicales para todos los gustos de todo el aforo.
Entre las bandas que hicieron presentación en este recinto musical, se puede mencionar Kasino, La Tinta, Odin, Frailes, Legacy, Sinfra, Sky White Meditation, Gus Guru SN, Trilogía, Death Mortor, Local S, Horus y Gillman, todas con excelentes presentaciones y buen sonido adecuado para el disfrute de todos los que asintieron al evento musical.

In addition to the participation of Gillman, as part of this musical legend of Venezuelan rock, there were also other musical legends of the country, such as the musician Victor Gonzalez with his band Kasino, pioneer of Hard Rock in Venezuela, also the presence of Gustavo Corma, founder of the legendary band La Seguridad Nacional or even the tribute band to the greats of rock Legacy, where the vocalist Spindolla, with an extensive musical career in the Power Heavy Metal genre, participated.
Undoubtedly, a gala with the referents and pioneers of rock in Venezuela, still showing their active participation in music despite their advanced age, they continue to contribute to the culture and music.
Además de contar la participación de Gillman, como parte de toda esta leyenda musical del rock venezolano, también estuvieron otras leyendas musicales del país, tales como el músico Víctor González con su banda Kasino, pionero del Hard Rock en Venezuela, también la presencia de Gustavo Corma, fundador de la legendaria banda La Seguridad Nacional o incluso la banda de tributos a los grandes del rock Legacy, donde tuvo participación el vocalista Spindolla, con una amplia trayectoria musical en el género Power Heavy Metal.
Sin duda, toda una gala con los referentes y pioneros del rock en Venezuela, mostrando aún su participación activa con la música a pesar de sus edades ya avanzadas, siguen aportando en la cultura y la música.

This musical festival was totally free, which huvo a relative participation of a very young audience, as who says the new generation of this cultural movement, although there were also many family members with children, who already at very young ages, enjoy good music.
The event started at 1 pm, but I arrived at about 6 pm, and I missed some bands, but still I could enjoy the rest of the event, until it ended at 11 pm, with the closing of the band Gillman, in an excellent night of good Rock and Roll.
Este festival musical fue totalmente gratuito, la cual huvo una relativa participación de un público muy joven, como quien dice la nueva generación de esta movida cultural, aunque también estuvieron presentes muchos familiares con hijos, quienes desde ya a edades muy cortas, disfruntan de buena música.
El evento comenzó a la 1 pm del día, pero yo llegué como a las 6 pm, y me perdí algunas bandas musicales, pero aun así pude disfrutar del resto del evento, hasta que terminó como a las 11 pm, con el cierre de la banda Gillman, en noche excelente de buen Rock and Roll.

How nice this was a free entrance festival! And so cool you could finally attend a real event! How did this make you feel? Must have been a crazy feeling of freedom, a true realisation in the here and now and hopefully some goosebumps here and there because of the music and atmosphere?
It was spectacular, it had been a long time since I had heard live music, with a great sound and many outstanding bands. Among them playing music that I really liked and made me remember old times when I shared with my friends and listened to music. Greetings !
