Hello everyone!
So I'm still here outside our gate, waiting for some miracles to happen and someone inside our compound would wake up for an unknown reason and open the gate. Crossing my fingers! No. I'm busy tapping my phone as I'm telling you this ordeal. I have a lot of options, but I'm afraid even just at the thought of some of them.
I was planning to just climb over, but there is an installed CCTV camera. I don't want to be construed as a thief. Plus, my outfit of the day seems to be not appropriate for climbing. Not a good option.
I can just bang the gate until someone inside hears me. I did! Believe me, I did, but I guess everyone is in the dreamland that they forget about me. Been tapping and banging the gate for more than an hour but to no avail. Maybe they're all dead inside? The horror.
I can shout "Fire!" and make a scene until everyone is dragged away from their slumber, but I think that would land me in jail. I'm already dramatizing a lot of scenarios in my head where I can channel the best actor in me, but I guess I can't do it in action. I'm still lost in that aspect.

I tried calling my sister, my brother, and the whole family's group chat, but no one answered. The downside of too much technology? I didn't save any of my family's phone numbers and didn't even memorize one of them. I mean, I didn't find any meaning in memorizing someone's phone number anymore. I guess this is the meaning I have been looking for?
I was also planning on going somewhere else and staying there until morning, but I guess no establishments are open at this hour because curfew is still in effect. I could go to a hotel or something, but I didn't have cash in me. Spent it already on the food and drinks earlier. Another downside of too much technology? Not having enough cash. But I guess hotels accept GCash or something. I really do hope they'll accept HBD and HIVE someday. For now, I can just hope while sitting alone somewhere near our gate.
Or!
I can wallow at my mishap while monetizing it! Which is what I'm doing right now. Tapping my phone in a slightly dark alley while you might be enjoying my predicament the moment you read this. I can remember Ariana Grande's character tweeting while being stabbed by a killer in that dumb series that I liked very much - Scream Queens. Kween things only!
Wait. Did I tell you the context of why this is happening? Well, here it is. I have a lot of time to kill anyway.
Where should I start? From that weekend afternoon? Yeah! That one.

The context is that I'm typing this under the slight influence of alcohol. Slight. Not too much. I'm just a little tipsy because I claimed to have a high tolerance to alcohol. That's still subject to verification. It's just my conjecture after a few drinking sessions I attended in my whole life.
I was at CBTL (Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf) yesterday afternoon because they're on a double stamp until today for their tumbler giveaway. We (with Ivana and @glecerioberto) agreed to go to Payag-Payag (a resto-bar that changed its name but I forgot its new name) to have dinner and drink a little bit. Nothing unusual for celebration. It's just a random suggestion to have a chill Sunday evening.
While at Payag-Payag, GB and I joined the Game Night that was organized by Hive PH. While we were on...
Wait! My sister woke up and opened the gate! After almost 3 hours of waiting, I finally got inside. Anyway, I'll finish this and hit that publish button because I'm honestly sleepy now.
Continuing with the context, we were having this Game Night at Hive PH's discord while having this tower of drink that seemed to be just pure juice. We were more than halfway already and I still didn't feel that drunken state where I will just blurt out whatever I have in mind. I know I'm drunk when I can't control what I say even if I'm still aware. I didn't feel that sense of losing control. Or was I? No. I'm not drunk. Says every drunk person ever.

I must add this: My dog, Cookie, got out and accompanied me while I was still outside. I didn't feel alone because of him.
Moral of the story: Have a dog that will accompany you in your sadness! No. Tell your family ahead that you'll be home late and probably drunk so that they can open the gate for you. Bow.
I guess this is it! Happy weekend! Wait. It's already Monday here so happy weekend to the part of the world that's still weekend! I hope you enjoyed my downfall, you bitch! Oops!

Relate with not able to memorize numbers of any family member. Lol I only memorized mine. I don't live in a compound so I could just knock the door as hard as possible to wake them up 😂
Good thing you got in safe. I hope to meet you someday along with other hiveph members 😍
I will now at least save them in my contacts. Lesson learned the hard way.
I hope to see you soon! Maybe they'll organize face-to-face meet ups, so stay tuned!
Yess, save on contacts tapos naa sad load pang call. Haha I only have surf and text usually.
Great!! Would love to meet you in person. Looking forward to that 😍
I told you to throw a brick though the window, would have got you out of misery much quicker
Our house is at the end of the compound. Huhuhu. If I through a rock, I'm sure it will hit our neighbour's house. Would be awesome to wake them up though. 😂
😄
Great story and
YES ;)
Yes! Dogs are such awesome creatures!
Glad to know the ending of this story. Was always checking on your Twitter on the update to this funny dilemma. You were so damn confident last night during our mafia game while drinking your heart out and not worrying about anything.
You can crash at my place if this happens again! 🤣
Yasss! Dapat makahibaw nako asa inyo. 😂 Pero funny bitaw sha. Monetize oi. 🙈
Edsnath's po ang new name nila. 😂
Good luck sa next time nga inom. Dapat naa kay na learn gikan ani nga ordeal. (Nga it's a good time to write a post? 😅)
Save your family's number on your phone!
There should be 3 phone numbers you should memorize, yours, your mother's and your partner's (duha nalang gani kay wa ka anang 3rd). 😂
Bitch! Ba't naman nananakit? At least I was able to monetize that ordeal.
Where was that security guard asleep also as they always are 🤣 I would have just jumped that fence 🤣 At least you earned yourself some Hive while sitting in the dark.
We don't have a security guard. 😭
I was really planning to do it, but I'm afraid I might end up in the internet or worse, jail. 🙈
Yes! That's the takeaway. Earn Hive in every ordeal that you experience. 😂
Well ending up on the internet or worse, jail would have made a even better story 🤣 Just kidding there places you don't want to be 😁 Just lucky your sister woke up 👍
Yeah! Ending in jail is one for the books! I don't want to try it though. 😂
No way life is too good on the outside there will be no free driving in the jails 🤣
It wasn't a bad night at all because despite the alcohol in his veins he was still able to reflect and learn. Technology has made us very dependent on it, I remember that at one time in my life I got to memorize 20 phone numbers that were of my interest, such as those of family and work, now I only remember my mother's, of course I'm talking about jna time where they had not created the cell phone, 🥺 I really am old 🙊🙈😂.
And while you were under the danger of the night and of being frozen by the cold, I was wondering where is the HAVEYOUBEENHERE team, 😅🤣 you haven't visited me.
Thanks for telling your weekend story, my weekends lately are the same, all I do is create content although I like it also it's my passion sometimes I miss the alcohol through my veins, greetings and next time bring your own keys if you are given permission 😜 @ybanezkim26
The gate is locked from the inside and there's no key that could be used to open from the outside. Dunno how they designed that gate. That's not ours anyway. We are living in a compound with our neighbors.
Oh what a security, next time take a coat in case you have to spend the night outside. 😉
I don't have to worry. It's so hot and humid here that it feels nice to be outside at night.
Waah, I also had the same experience before cause I forgot my own keys lol. Your case is much better because there's a dog that accompanies you while waiting 😉 Glad you got in safe.
Yasss! My dog came out the moment I got impatient. Maybe they can sense desperation. My father said the dog came back and forth. I think it's telling them I was outside.
Hahaha that was a good read :) Btw I cannot believe you didn´t just jump over the gate. I must have "conquered" dozens of gates / fences etc. while being drunk :D But it can be tricky, yeah. I remember one of my friends ending up stuck on the top of the gate, hanging head down with his pants impaled on one of the spikes :D I think he still remembers it too :D
That's what I'm afraid! My outfit was not fit climbing.
hahaha... glad you got company ...
at least namonetize ning sitwasyona...
Ana jud Ma'am Jean! Monetize jud tanan lihok. Puslan man. 😂
hehe mao mao
This is a true story to all singles going home late! Even though we don’t have a gate, I sometimes forget to bring the key for the main door! Family GC is also inactive! And yes, I dont remember the time when we still need to memorize phone numbers of people!
Note:
I was a “Villager” the whole time! I felt so bad being accused. 😂
Hahaha! Ba't naman magmention pa ng single? 😂 Cc: @indayclara. Damay-damay na to!
Sorry na po! 😂🤣
I enjoyed reading your blog. Very quality content. Such an inspiration for me to write. ❤️
