I am very happy because this edition was very lively, both in terms of haiku and of comments, votes and considerations. After 52 Mizu No Oto, we still have the ability to attract new participants!
With this post of awards I have to greet you and give you an appointment on September 1st.

Best Haiku / Mejor Haiku (1 Hive SBI):
Ojos abiertos
En la joven camada.
Sueño y maullido.
Open eyes
In the young litter.
Sleep and meow.
In rewarding this haiku I would like to draw your attention to the structure: two movements, separated by a sharp kireji; a dry, no-frills vocabulary. Attention to suggesting, without naming: with regard to the kittens we only receive the reference to the look and the meow.
The author wisely plays with contrasts, showing us how from one thing its opposite arises: there is a pair of open eyes in the litter (which reminds us of rest), there is a meow that comes from silent sleep.
Just as kittens form a black and white ball, one color is born from the other and to the other returns, like yin and yang.
En recompensar este haiku, me gustaría llamar su atención sobre la estructura: dos movimientos, separados por un kireji neto; un vocabulario seco y sencillo. Atención a la sugerencia, sin nombrar: con respecto a los gatitos solo recibimos la referencia a la mirada y al maullido.
La autora juega sabiamente con los contrastes, mostrándonos cómo de una cosa surge su opuesto: hay un par de ojos abiertos en la camada (que nos recuerda el descanso), hay un maullido que proviene del sueño silencioso.
Así como los gatitos forman una bola blanca y negra, un color nace del otro y al otro regresa, como el yin y el yang.

By a narrow margin, this haiku wins the favor of the other participants. We note that it also strictly respects the rule of the two "movements" separated by kireji, called toriawase. The first movement is almost humorous, or at least light, and insists on the notorious hyperactivity of puppies. The second, with the technique of suggestive contrast, or nibutsu shōgeki, consists of the third line, more solemn and icastic, which seals the composition.
Por un estrecho margen, este haiku gana el favor de los demás participantes. Observamos que también respeta estrictamente la regla de los dos "movimientos" separados por el kireji, llamada toriawase. El primer movimiento es casi humorístico, o al menos ligero, e insiste en la notoria hiperactividad de los cachorros. La segunda, con la técnica del contraste sugerente, o nibutsu shōgeki, consta de la tercera línea, más solemne y lapidaria, que sella la composición.

De los ejercicios presentados los que más me han gustado han sido los de @marcybetancourt, @petronila y @sayury. En el primero advierto su carácter lúdico (cercano al humor), no solo por jugar con elementos orgánicos y su cantidad (que serían múltiplos entre ellos), sino también por juntar en la línea final esos dos aspectos aparentemente desligados. En el de @petronila, aprecio la síntesis magnífica de sus dos primeras líneas, que se multiplica sugestivamente en la imagen visual final. Y en el de @sayury, tres cualidades entrecruzadas de estos seres, que nos presenta la foto de @marcoriccardi, que resumen con delicadeza enunciativa la estampa. Este me gana particularmente. Voto por él
Of the exercises presented, the ones I liked the most were those of @marcybetancourt, @petronila and @sayury. In the first, I notice its playful nature (close to humor), not only for playing with organic elements and their quantity (which would be multiples of each other), but also for bringing together these two apparently unrelated aspects in the final line. In that of @petronila, I appreciate the magnificent synthesis of its first two lines, which is suggestively multiplied in the final visual image. And in that of @sayury, three intertwined qualities of these beings, which the photo of @marcoriccardi presents to us, which summarizes the picture with enunciative delicacy. This one beats me particularly. I vote for it
Being once again the commentator who has spent the most to prepare an analysis of some of the compositions in the competition and argue in great detail his choice, I think he deserves this award. Compliments!
