The long-awaited elections (for me) have arrived; from the first day I was allowed to vote, I have never wanted to vote as much as this time.
Llegaron las elecciones tan esperadas (por mi), desde el primer día en que se me permitió el sufragio nunca tuve tantas ganas de votar como esta vez.
In Paraguay, Ciudad del Este, a quiet morning with nothing out of place, with very little crowd on the streets, some people from a certain community doing their group walks, but something unusual: A line of more than 30 people standing in line to enter the Argentine consulate to vote, 100% of the people agreed that this turnout to cast the vote is not normal like previous years, attendance has been very high.
En Paraguay, Ciudad del Este una mañana tranquila sin nada fuera del lugar, con muy poca concurrencia en las calles, algunas personas de determinada comunidad haciendo sus caminatas grupales, pero algo inusual: Una fila de mas de 30 personas haciendo fila para ingresar al consulado argentino para votar, el 100% de las personas coincidió que esta concurrencia para emitir el voto no es normal como los años anteriores, la asistencia ha sido muy alta.
Arriving at the 7th floor of the building we arrived at the consular office where we met the Consul and the rest of the officials present at the urn. There we shared opinions among the majority of the people present and with the majority we agreed on the opinions about the candidates.
Llegando al 7° piso del edificio llegamos a la oficina consular donde nos hemos encontrado con el Cónsul y el resto de los funcionarios presentes en la urna. Allí compartimos opiniones entre la mayoría de las personas presentes y con la mayoría coincidíamos en las opiniones acerca de los candidatos.
The expectations for the results of the elections for the majority of Argentines who live outside the country are very high. This kept me restless until the last few hours to find out the results. Although it is not what I expected, I think there is a good chance that one of the candidates will win, especially the candidate who is not more of the same trying to take the country deeper than it already is.
Ls expectativas por los resultados de las elecciones por la mayoría de los argentinos que residimos fuera del país son muy altas. esto me mantuvo inquieto hasta últimas horas para conocer los resultados. Si bien no es lo que esperaba creo que existe una gran probabilidad que gane uno de los candidatos, especialmente el candidato que no sea mas de lo mismo intentando llevar al país mas profundo de lo que ya está.
