Yeah with my 11 land plots I am too small to take advantage of the cards, so unless you have a lot more plots and better upgraded then you have not missed much...
I will argue, that at 11 plots you are at a better position to take advantage of these cards compared to many others. It is easier to manage and optimize.
But like you said before, it might make sense to wait for the hype to die down and simply acquire these cards on the market...
Yes, that is a a possibility, but it would be unlikely you will get them at face value. Just for your records, here are the face value for the cards.
