I believe it is due to the combined efforts of yourself, beaker and Jedo.
Thanks to you guys, I personally deactivated a lot of plots that were underperforming and drastically increased my Efficiency!
However... this means my "active" plots dropped from like 28 to 9 (10 now?)
This is probably happening across the Regions and why it's a Zero Sum equation at the moment.
Nothing more than extrapolation of data from you, my personal experience and the community reaction to your efforts.
Quality is better than quantity.
That has always been my motto!

Spread the word. Even activating one plot in a good way is better than zero plot.
