(WATCH NOW) My first ever HIVE post! Live Music 'Flandyke Shore' - traditional English folk song by Laurence Breeze

Well folks, I am SO happy to be here and so excited that we've made the transition! I won't be posting on Steemit anymore (at least for the foreseeable future!) because I feel wedded to the pioneering and righteously independent, decentralised arm of this community and the bee's with the right buzz have all headed to HIVE!
Im not an especially consistent member of this community but Ive been here for nearly 3 years and Ive always loved the space it offers and the people who Ive interacted with over the years have become my friends. I also love to see an ambitious project being given the love and attention it deserves and for me, HIVE is the natural evolution from the Steem testing ground and the great minds and great hearts who have observed and learned for all these years can now build a greater vision based on all that experience. Truly exciting times!

Now back to business. Its time to continue introducing new local talent to the blockchain (which has become increasingly difficult with the recent coronavirus outbreak). Here with a beautiful rendition of a traditional English folk tune is Laurence Breeze. Enjoy:

Set thine ear upon this praiseworthy ditty, O' gentle folk, for the Breeze doth present it in ribbons for thee. The Postbeat crew simply stood back and marvelled as this beautiful rendition of a traditional folk tune got woven through the dank and scruffy airwaves of the Postbeat Workshop. We are most honoured!
Hopefully this little promo can come in handy for Laurence on his rounds as a folk singer in the deep south of England. We love to give these recordings as a gift to our talented musical friends, so if you think we're doing a good job, please consider supporting us to do more of this work;

Great voice & beautiful performance. Thanks for sharing this.

isn't he great? He'll be delighted that you enjoyed it : ) thanks for watching!

The pickup in the acoustic guitar gives the guitar a certain sound that you don't get from a microphone. I like it.
A lovely performance!

glad you liked it! If Im honest we don't know entirely what we're doing so if we get a good sound its often luck. But by trial and error we are starting to get a bit better with all the technology..... not that we really mind too much in the postbeat workshop! hehe

Lovely performance. Get Laurence on Hive soon. Not sure how we create accounts for people, but I expect that facility to be available soon.

it seems @esteemapp is working their butts off to make it happen, the options can be found here: https://signup.hive.io/

SteemConnect of course had the option to pay for an account yourself, it doesn't seem HiveSigner did copy that option so far...

great thanks for this info! I'll definitely be waiting for things to get nice and simple before I start trying to convince people to join... I made that mistake before with steem and I reckon of the 10 or so I managed to convince, none of them are still around (with the exception of my partner @sazzler)
