RE: The strange reality of AI at my workplace continues to raise questions

I think if they don't allow you, then there's nothing you can do other than to just find ways around it. If they're giving credits for everyone to use, then it's surprising to know that you're exempted, that's honestly sad. AI is evolving and I think all we need to do is adapt. By the way, was it a Claude subscription?

Sort:

It is Kiro which uses Claude subscriptions amongst others. I usually use it on Auto and let it pick the right model based on the given task. And yeah, I hope that even our boss will be put in the position not to be able to say "No". Until that happens we'll work around it, but that's just plain stupid.

It's really not good coming from the bosses lol, do they think using AI will stop your efficiency or something? They shouldn't be doing that.

I project, I've been trying to just get little help from paid AI, but I can't even afford that.

He is outdated by the new technology and also fears what he doesn't understand. I don't want to use worse labels for it, but never seen a guy like him in my entire profession. He knows just to lie everybody (even he was caught several times) and tries to work as little as possible.
