I would definitely like to see more innovation into tokenizing gaming and would love a basic FPS up and running, something like Ghost Recon (the original) cleaned up. I envisage two sides of the economy, the playing and the betting on players/teams. There could be many different versions where for example (using HIVE) puts 1 token in to the pot for a round and the winning team will split it depending on their game play, number of kills, headshots or whatever. The thing with Hive is that on chain/sidechain, these transactions can all be done for free by the endusers - so even the smallest amounts can be transacted.

I love your enthusiasm. I didn't think of the betting on players aspect, but thats a logical and natural occurence. I am especially intrigued by the free transaction aspect making microtransactions profitable. I think those aspects of Steem/Hive were underutilized until Splinterlands came along and I think they have only scratched the surface of whats possible.
Free transactions (because of the witness system) is one of the biggest drawcards here, and devs should be getting on it hard.
