Wayne se transforma en el personaje de Batman para luchar contra el crimen y la violencia de Ciudad Gótica. El personaje no tiene súper poderes como otros superhéroes pero ha inventado una serie de accesorios que le ayudan en su misión. Además, también es muy inteligente y sabe utilizar la tecnología.
En el cine, Batman ha sido personificado varias veces. El mejor rol en los últimos años fue realizado por el actor Christian Bale en la película El caballero de la noche dirigida por Christopher Nolan.
