This month's delegation payout is the last delegation payout on Steem. We are moving forward with transitioning to Hive, and the full transition will be done by the end of the month. This also leads us to something very, very important:
SET UP A PASSWORD ON VIMM!
No, seriously. Once we shut off the Steem integration, you won't be able to get into your account. Link your Hive Wallet if you have one (You should by now) and make sure you have a password set up on your Vimm account. It only takes a few minutes, and it will save you a whole lot of headache along the way.
I always logged in using SteemConnect and the button is gone, what do?
- Use this link to login with SteemConnect > https://www.vimm.tv/login/steemconnect
- Head to Dashboard > Settings > Account Settings
- Click on the red "Link via HiveSigner" button!
If we're being honest with ourselves, we really wanted to see our streamers earn on both platforms. But with the way things have transpired in the past week, we cannot see Steem being a safe place for our content creators to grow. Hopefully this changes in the near future, as we would like for our users to be able to earn both Steem and Hive. It would be a win-win for everyone, there. Hopefully things calm down, and we can return to a state of mutual edification.

Do you still need to create a vimm password if you have a "forked" steem/hive account? i.e your forked hive password "key" is still the same as the old steem key.
The VIMM account is standalone, so if you login to it, and then connect a hive wallet via HiveSigner you'll be fine.
However, if steemconnect is your only way to login to your VIMM account, you'll be unable to login and using hivesigner will create a new standalone VIMM account. (Meaning you would lose your VIMM settings, your followers, etc...)
We'll give everyone some time to get that sorted out. But on May 1st, SteemConnect support will be disabled and those who don't have another login method setup will have to start from scratch with a new VIMM account. OR if their email is verified, we'll be able to send a temporary password so they can retrieve their account.
But the point remains, Easiest way to make sure you never lose access is this: Verify your email, set a VIMM password, and have more than 1 login method set up.
You guys are doing a great job! With all my heart I want your service to develop. But in this situation I think that you could to immediately complete Steem support and switch to the Hive!

I haven't been around for awhile. What all is going on over at Steem over the past week?
The governance of the Steem chain is completely broken. There is now 1 person deciding what posts stay up and which accounts are allowed to transfer STEEM. The same person can decide to push any code they want, making the Steem chain a very unsafe place to keep any funds (They can freeze your assets whenever they see fit, and there's very little you can do about it).
What is this Vimm delegation of which you speak? How does that work?
