Beautiful, Rara. This was a beautiful read in every way and it was even more beautiful because I could relate to this feeling you spoke of. I guess this is what I have been trying to figure out about myself. I do a lot of things not necessarily for the benefits but at least it’s a lot to be acknowledged for it. That feeling when the little thing you’ve done was noticed and commended. The boost is beyond what you’d have even imagined.
But then, when it doesn’t come that shouldn’t stop us from being ourselves. We can’t be like them. We have to be like us. I have to be me. That’s my power. That’s my pride.
