RE: One thing never changes

in The Ink Welllast year

Hello @davidteichmann95,

I saw the photo and wanted to read your piece. An interesting selection. You've got a great idea for a piece. In the Inkwell we usually like stories/essays to be 750-1000 words so the author can fully develop a theme.

We welcome creative nonfiction. This is a new category for us. Usually we would like a theme such as this one to relate somehow to your own experience. Make it personal, more subjective. What is your experience with "I miss the good old days"? Is this something you have said, your parents have said, or your friends have said? What was the context? What did it mean to you?

Creative nonfiction pieces generally have some kind of emotional connection to the author.

You can write. That's obvious. You certainly have ideas. I'd love to read more from you.
Please read our rules so you can make a smooth transition into the community, if that is what you wish to do.

The image We need a source, and a link to that source and it has to be public domain. I have used cave art images myself in writing. However, the image does have to be properly source.

Thank you, and good luck!
