RE: Tricky Heights

It was a monster’s struggle to continue profiting from people trapped in a world to which they did not belong.

This line captures the heart of your story. Who is the monster--the so-called
freaks who entertain the people, or the human who exploits them?

A great story, a great commentary. It was a little bit violent for the Inkwell (the donkey really was bit over the line) but it wasn't terribly graphic. To be sure, the cruel treatment of the circus actors was a more profound kind of violence--but people didn't see that.

As always, a very good story, @gabmr

Bosses aren't often those who are supposed to be, sadly. "Appearances (and actions)can be deceiving," as they say.

You're right. I thought several times about the violence on it, but I wanted to keep it somehow for the sake of the prompt😅
