I have to confess to you that I didn't know exactly what Tourette's syndrome was either. Now, after your article, I looked it up and found out what it is.
First of all, I liked it a lot because you informed me indirectly.
I also realized that while reading the articles, for some reason, I always imagine it in places like medieval England, but when the child went and reached for the IPAD, it suddenly updated everything I imagined in my head :D
