This is a wonderful story.
I love the relationship between Anokhi and Vivaan, it speaks of a bond far stronger than blood.
A pity she had to give up her dreams for her brother, but then such is life. We make sacrifices for those we love all the time. This concept adds a touch of realism to it.
I loved reading it, and for a first timer, this was awesome.👍🏽

I think that the sentiment of "Pity, but such is life" is what I was going for! We do make sacrifices for those that we love and sometimes put their wishes and needs before ourselves. I think I wanted to explore what that means for the people invovled. In Vivaan's case, he'd always carry this sentiment of having something that he didn't even think about, especially since he'd grown up seeing his sister dream of the very life he's living. Anokhi shows that her bond with her brother is more important than any dream of hers but is still wishful, maybe even resentful for this life that she's so close to but cannot have for her own.
