Atish got out of the house and sat inside the car while Sophie was still inside finding her car keys. She found it. She looked up in the mirror to see her beautiful white dress. She wore a pretty dress after a very long time maybe she didn't do it even once after her husband died five years ago. She smiled through the pain in the mirror. They got home not knowing someone was waiting for them.*
Sophie went inside the house. Atish was just behind her. They both didn't know someone was behind the door. Sophie heard a loud thud behind to see Malik holding a gun on Atish's head. Malik, the man who was always trying to get in the picture after her husband's death and was after his wealth, was standing there shamelessly while pointing the gun at her son.
Sophie then pushed Atish out of his grip and the gun fell down. She quickly grabbed it and pointed it at Malik. "I won't let you hurt any of us", Sofie said as tears were rolling down her cheeks. At a point, he was trying to snatch the gun. Atish was there trying to stop them. She slapped Malik out of the blue. Malik clenched his jaw. He wiped his lips and found blood on the corner of his lips.
He then grabbed her by her hair and was continuously slapping her, made her head hit the wall several times and beat her up. Atish was seeing the awful sight. But I couldn't do anything.
Tears were rolling down his cheeks uncontrollably. "That's it. I told u so many times but you won't listen to me. So...", Malik said to Sofie who was standing lifelessly with the support of the table. Malik found the gun somewhere and pointed it at Sophie. She closed her eyes as she could see what was going to happen.
BANG...! a sound of gunshot echoed through the house. Sophie opened her eyes and saw Atish lying in front of her. She widened her eyes realizing what had happened. She started to scream at Malik. Tears were falling down her cheeks like a stream.
Malik was standing there, shocked to see what just happened. Sofie noticed a knife in the fruit bowl beside her. She grabbed it. Malik seemed not to notice that. She didn't even wait a second to stab him hard in his stomach. She pulled it out and did it again, harder this time. She stabbed him like 10 times and made sure his heart stopped. She was sobbing like there's no tomorrow when she was sitting in front of Malik's lifeless body.
Who would've thought that this day would become such a mess instead of a joyful one. Sophie was walking through the streets not knowing what to do. Her white dress had red blood stains on the bottom. She covered her eyes with her arms because of the sharp light that was hitting her face. It was a truck probably.
Before she could even see what that was. It ran over her. And there she was lying on the road with blood around her just like Atish.

Sometimes, evil pushes people to the edge, and no one truly wins. I felt bad for Atish and Sophie. Mailik was a very bad person.
