Destructive Agent

Bisoye is someone who is hard working and does not always collect money from her husband, Bisi, but he always loves to give his wife some money every month end. Bisi is a real businessman and the type who does not take nonsense in his business. Bisoye has a friend, Kemi, who always loves fashion. She is the type that does love taking lots of money from her husband anytime he has to take a salary. The fact remains that his husband is working in a fine and big firm organization. Kayode is a simple man and someone who always loves to do anything his wife says.

One day, Bisoye met up with Kemi in their usual place where they always meet and Kemi was discussing how his husband always gives her money and also told Bisoye the amount her husband always gives to her every month. Bisoye was ashamed of not telling Kemi the amount she always collects from her husband. So, she only had to lie that he did give her money and tangible one every month end.

Bisoye is so content with her husband to the brim and does not want anything bad to come between them or to separate her husband from her. So, when she got home, she was happy to see her husband as she was stirring at him while he was sleeping. Bisoye has true love for her husband and does not want to make him feel sad by collecting more money from her husband. At a time when his business was supposed to boom, fraudsters came into the scene and dube him all his market money as well as his savings. Bisi was mad and did not know what to do other than to get consoled by his wife, Bisoye.

So, Bisoye decided to give her husband money from his savings to start afresh. It was a big fall for him and so to bounce back again, Bisi has to restart from.the beginning. So, he did not waste time and started afresh with the same kind of business. His wife was there to support him to the fullest. Bisoye on the other hand still kept on working very hard to make things work out for her and her husband.

Bisoye decided to go to her friend's house to pay her visit. Kemi was also narrating to her friend how her husband has her huge amount of money. She did not end there but showed her how she used part of the money to buy some jewelry for herself. Bisoye felt so bad but could not say a word to Kemi, her friend. It was not for Bisoye, but she had no choice other than to defend her husband. She told her friend that her husband has been having issues with her business and has been dubbed. Kemi later told Bisoye ``how will he take care of you with what you just said"?. Bisoye replied to her that "God will take control. I'm going to be fine since I'm having business of my own. I will make sure to help him out and fix him up. I have indeed given him some amount of money to start up afresh with his business. Bisoye replied to Kemi with passion.

One fateful day, Besoye and her husband went to pay Kemi a visit and found the unexpected. Kemi's husband was quarreling with Kemi and with the look of things, it was as if there was no love between them. Bisoye was mute with what she saw and Kemi began to pretend and at the same time feeling shy just because of the lies she has told her friend about her husband always giving her money every month. All these happened to be lies just to make her friend hate her husband. Bisoye did not for once listen to his friend because of the love she had for her husband or else she would have had issues with her husband.

Bisoye later told her husband everything that Kemi had been telling her. The husband was shocked to hear that for the first time from his wife. He thanked her wife for always believing in him and for not disappointing him by following her friend's words. So, it was so clear that Kemi is not worth being your friend, Bisi said to his husband, Bisoye.

We should mind the friends we keep because most friends do love to find means of deceiving their friends so that their homes will be destroyed. Be careful and look carefully before making someone your friend.

It is a good thing that bisoye did not listen to her friend, not all friends should be listened to.

@cool08 | a story full of advice, my friend. Thank you for writing it down.

You are welcome...

As your story indicates, sometimes we use the word 'friend' loosely. A friend is someone who cares about us. It is apparent that Kemi did not care at all about Bisoye. It is also sad to realize that Kemi lied because she was not proud of her husband or her marriage. This is an instructive story that introduces us to characters who are very different from each other.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. Have you engaged with two other writers in the community? Thank you!

This is why we have to know the kind of friends we keep.

Not everyone who claims to be a friend is one. Some people can be toxic to others, like Kemi.

It's a good thing she didn't listen to Kemi's advice, if not her marriage may have been ruined.

Also, there are a few spelling errors which are making the story a bit difficult to read. For next time, it's advisable you do a bit more proof reading and you can also check here for a few tips from the inkwell.

This is why I wouldn't want any third party in my relationship who would want to lead me astray in hating my partner. No, I wouldn't do that. We need to be careful so as not to be influenced negatively by friends. @dreemport led me here.

Beautiful story with moral instructions. We should be totally content, trustworthy, reliable and loyal.

Some friends do not deserve the word "friend!"

As always, when I see the phrase "one faithful day," I always provide the correction. It should be "one fateful day." (It it about fate not faith.) But this phrase is really quite over-used. The phrase "One day," works just as well.
