There is a saying: Seeing something with new eyes. In this case, that is quite literally true. And, it is also figuratively true. The little boy sees things for the first time, and the older children see his peculiar behavior with 'new eyes'. You take the concept of perception and give it dimension in this story, @cryptofi.

The sense of sight is one we take for granted. This story is a great reminder that it's an incredible gift. I love how the boys develop compassion when they understand the reason for the young rider's exuberance about the passing scenery.
