"Soon my soul will pass from this world to another world, as I am taking my last breathe, so you don't need to get worry about me." These were the words of James to his daughter Nora. Actually he caught a severe disease which had put him into the death bed. But Nora was doing everything to save her father's life. Currently, they were moving to another country by ship as Nora wanted to get her father examined by the best doctor.
" Dad! please be strong! I am sure you will fight back to defeat this illness. I want to see you healthy again." Said Nora
Nora was a strong girl who always faced every difficulty with a great smile on her face. Although seeing her father in this plight was truly hard for her. But still her courage was like a rock infront of her weaknesses. But his father was hopeless so every time he was used to give such discouraging remarks.
One day the ship had some technical issue, so ship manager announced that they would have to wait there until the issue get resolved. Everyone was at calm except Nora's father as he was the only patient in the ship. Suddenly his health deteriorated and he started to take heavy breathe.
" Nora! Nora...wa....water....water.!"
Nora immediately picked up the bottle but it was empty. She ran to the scuttlebutt to have some water for her father, but her hands were trembling with fear to loss her father. She couldn't opened the scuttlebutt after trying so hard.
Nora: " Ahhhh.....hhhhh..Can someone please help me to open it? I really need some water for my father..he is dying!"
(A young man named Adam, ran to help her)
"Miss! Please be calm, I will help you to open it." Said Adam
He opened the scuttlebutt and immediately she filled the bottle with water. She came back to her father and poured some drops of water in her father’s mouth. She also used some medication which was prescribed by his previous doctor to tackle such serious situation, but still there was no betterment. " Dad! please.....you can't die like that! You know I have no one except you. I can't imagine to live without you...please be strong..... you would have to fight this disease! I know.......I know, you're strong...you can do it...please do it for me." Nora said to her father.
Tears roll down from her eyes as she utter such words but father was only making a moaning sound. Adam was looking all this and his eyes also filled with tears but he was also helpless. Now everything was in Almighty's hand. Soon a ray of hope came,
" Hurrah! The issue has been resolved! Now we can move ahead easily. So everyone be ready as we will start our voyage again." (A manager came to inform the crew).
Those words brought encouragement for everyone and soon Nora felt betterment in her father’s plight. In few minutes he opened his eyes and he was calm again. Nora's tears of helplessness changed into tears of joy as she saw her father feeling better.
She also thanked Adam for his generosity and they became good friends.(The voyage started again).

I really hope her father survives because Nora will definitely have a hard time getting over it.
I'm happy she was able to find a friend in Adam. It was not going to be an easy task so hopefully Adam will be of much greater help to her.
It's good that her father was able to hang on a little longer. I wonder if he will actually make it to the doctor, if he's that weak???

Nora's optimism about life and her deep love for her father make us imagine how this story could end. However, at the end of the story, the reader is left unsatisfied. The writer has not delivered the complete story. A story consists of a beginning, a development and an ending. In this case the ending is left hanging, giving the impression that the story is not complete. You may want to work on this aspect further.
