You have a good topic on your hands with this idea of a writer facing the blank page, @b0s. As a reader I'm not sure of the outcome. You open up a space between events where it's possible for a lot to happen. The reader waits for the writer to resolve the story to be satisfied with the reading.

Sorry I couldn't resolve the story properly. I was actually interrupted as I wrote the latter parts of the story, and for whatever reason I just couldn't connect as much as I did before the interruption.
