They had been best friends since they were little and always enjoyed their vacations together until the very last day. That afternoon smelled of flowers and the beach, creating a relaxing yet nostalgic atmosphere for both of them, as Sara had to go away.
I always knew this summer would be special. But I can't help thinking about how much I'll miss every moment here.
You can say that again. We are really lucky to have shared so many moments together, so many stories that we will undoubtedly tell our children in the future about these wonderful memories.

After a couple of minutes of silence, Sara's phone rings. She stops to look for it, and when she sees it, her expression changes.
It's my mom. My grandmother had a heart attack. Fortunately, they managed to save her, but she's in very bad shape, and I have to go home as soon as possible.
What?! And your mom is alone with your grandmother?

Yes, that's why I have to rush back there tomorrow. I'm sorry, friend, I really wanted this day to be perfect.

They pack up quickly and head to their favorite spot by the lake. When they arrive, they realize that a family has already gotten there first and set up a tent, and now their peaceful spot is filled with shouting.
Today, it's no longer our peaceful spot because of all that noise. Oh well, we'll just have to make do with what we have. Let's try to enjoy ourselves anyway.
They swapped the picnic for a boat trip on the lake, as it was something they had always wanted to do but had never dared to try. They rented a boat and began to sail across the lake, enjoying the view.
But suddenly, while they are in the boat, an unexpected storm approaches, causing the boat to rock violently and putting them in danger.
We have to get back to shore now.
Yes, but the boat is already too unstable, so we can't move.
In the middle of the storm, the boat begins to capsize due to the strong waves. Sara and Lisa, terrified, prepare themselves psychologically for the most horrible end of their lives, but just then a flash of lightning illuminates the sky, and they manage to see a rescue boat approaching them.
Both begin to scream desperately for help, and the boat rescues them just in time, saving them from the storm.
Once safe, Sara and Lisa hug each other, crying, and thank the rescuers.
The last day of vacation ends with many mixed emotions, and although they had to face several setbacks, they symbolize other unforgettable memories that the two friends will always carry in their hearts.

Una tarde de verano cuando el atardecer caía sobre la playa, en el inmenso jardín que de la cabaña donde Sara y Lisa pasaron sus vacaciones, las dos amigas jugaban entre ellas haciendo sombras en la grama. Ellas dos eran mejores amigas desde muy chiquitas y siempre disfrutaban sus vacaciones juntas hasta el último día. Esa tarde olía a flores y playa creando un ambiente relajante y al mismo tiempo nostálgico para ambas ya que Sara tenía que irse lejos.
Siempre supe que este verano sería especial. Pero no puedo evitar pensar en cuánto extrañaré cada momento aquí.
Ni que lo digas. Realmente tenemos mucha suerte de haber vivido tantos momentos juntas, tantas anécdotas que sin duda alguna contaremos a nuestros hijos en un futuro esos recuerdos tan maravillosos.
Gracias por los recuerdos amiga. Por cada risa, por los momentos buenos y malos, por esos días donde secabas cada lágrima que derramé en esos momentos de depresión, en fin, por cada momento que hemos vivido juntas. Quiero que siempre recuerdes que sin importar a dónde vaya, siempre te tendré en mi corazón.

Después de un par de minutos en silencio, el teléfono de Sara suena. Se para a buscarlo y al verlo cambia su expresión.
Es mi mamá. Mi abuela tuvo un infarto, afortunadamente lograron salvarla pero está muy mal y debo regresar a casa lo antes posible.
¡¿Qué?! ¿Y tu mamá está sola con tu abuela?
Sara
Sí, por eso debo salir corriendo mañana mismo para allá. Perdón amiga, en serio quería que este día fuera perfecto.
Eso es lo de menos, ahora lo importante es que estés con tu mamá apoyándola. Pero... ¿qué haremos hoy?
No lo sé. Será hacer mis maletas y después aprovechar al máximo el día de hoy.
Después de las maletas listas deciden hacer un picnic en el lago ya que a ambas les encanta la briza cálida de ahí.
Vamos a hacer un picnic. Llevamos todas nuestras cosas preferidas y pasamos ahí el tiempo que nos queda juntas.
Sí va. Hagamos este día el más inolvidable de todos.
Empacan rápidamente y se dirigen a su lugar favorito del lago. Cuando llegan se dan cuenta que una familia ya ha llegado primero y colocó una carpa y ahora su lugar de paz está lleno de gritos.
Hoy ya no es nuestro lugar de paz por culpa de esos gritos. Bueno ni modo, nos toca conformarnos con lo que tenemos. Vamos a intentar disfrutar de todos modos.
Cambiaron el picnic por un paseo en bote por el lago ya que fue una actividad que siempre habían querido hacer pero nunca se había atrevido. Alquilaron un bote y comenzaron a navegar por el lago, disfrutando de la vista.
Pero de pronto mientras están en el bote, una tormenta inesperada se aproxima causando fuerte bamboleo en el bote y exponiéndolas al peligro.
Tenemos que volver a la orilla ya.
Sí, pero el bote ya está demasiado inestable así que no podemos movernos
En medio de la tormenta, el bote comienza a volcarse por el fuerte oleaje. Sara y Lisa asustadas se preparan psicológicamente para el final más horrible de sus vidas pero justo un rayo ilumina el cielo, y logran ver un barco de rescate acercándose a ellas.
Ambas comienzan a gritar desesperadas por ayuda y el barco las rescata justo a tiempo salvándolas de la tormenta.
Una vez a salvo, Sara y Lisa se abrazan llorando y agradecen a los rescatistas
El último día de vacaciones finaliza con muchas emociones encentradas y aunque tuvieron que enfrentar varios contratiempos simbolizan otros recuerdos inolvidables que llevarán siempre en sus corazones las dos amigas.
Te lo vuelvo a decir Lisa, gracias por los recuerdos porque a pesar de que ha sido aterrador nos hemos tenido la una a la otra.
