—Eilen,— said Emma, —come here. I have something to tell you.

Eilen approached her mother and, in a tender voice, said:

¬And what is it that you have to inform me, Mother.

—Your father fixed the date for your wedding, at the passing of three blood moons you will marry Prince Charles, — answered Emma.

Eilen had always done the will of her father, obedient to his orders she never left the castle, usually she was reading parchments in her room or in the courtyard painting, that news, disturbed the beautiful young woman with blue eyes; Being still a child, she was engaged to the son of the King of Ocaso of the neighboring kingdom of the Elves, this, her father did it with the purpose of strengthening political ties with his neighbors.

While Eilen was painting in the courtyard, she saw a beautiful deer and wanted to paint it, she went after it, she was distracted looking at the landscape, she walked and walked, without realizing she was far away from the castle, so much that she reached the limits of Arcadia, she heard voices, felt fear and wanted to return, but stumbled and fell on a slope, she rolled a few meters and was stopped by a bush, she was unconscious, when she woke up she found herself in an unknown place, with many people, who like her, were tied by hands and feet.

It was evident that she had been kidnapped, it was already dark, her captors lit a fire, in that place they spent the night, at dawn they were taken walking to another place, there they fed her; Eilen listened as those undesirables talked about selling them, she was very scared, a terrifying experience, more for her, who did not know of another world, other than the castle and its surroundings.

The day they were about to sell them, they were ambushed in a mountain, by a group of ostriches, with bows and arrows, it didn't take them long to defeat them, at the moment of the confrontation many of the kidnapped rolled down the hill, luckily Eilen was one of them.

— Did you hurt yourself, — said a dark-skinned boy in front of her.
¬Who are you, - asked Eilen, almost between her teeth.
— I'm Marcos, don't be scared, I don't mean to hurt you, ¬¬- said the boy.
¬ I'm not scared! - she answered.
—Yes, you are, even here I can hear your agitated heart. - I answered.
¬ Well yes, I am scared, how can I not be, I am far away from home and with a stranger.
— Where is your home, I can help you get back.
¬ In Arcadia, that's where I live.
— Arcadia?

At that moment, Marcos knew that he could not help the young woman home, because he was the prince of Astudia and his kingdom and Eilen's were enemies.
¬And who are you?" asked Eilen.

Bowing, Marcos answered: —I am Marcos, prince of Astudia. -

Eilen was paralyzed, there were many stories that her father had told her about that kingdom, none of them were good, they were accused of having stolen lands that belonged to Arcadia, besides having tortured her ancestors, at that moment she thought that they would hurt her, she wanted to escape, but she had an injured ankle, which would not let her go very far.

—Yes, we are enemies. -Marcos said, "but I will help you return to your kingdom.
¬It's not necessary.
—You can't do it alone, you are wounded and some wild animal may attack you.

Eilen had no choice but to accept Marcos' help, the boy took her with subtlety and put her on his ostrich.
—We will go through the crystal forest,— said Marcos, —it is the safest way.
¬I haven't heard of that forest," said Eilen.
—We are almost there, when we get there you must take off your shoes.
¬And how will we walk barefoot?
—They will give you special slippers there.
When they reached the forest, they took off their shoes, Eilen was still limping because of the pain in her ankle, they were greeted by a talking rabbit, who greeted Mark kindly.
-—ou may come in,— said the rabbit, —The colorful fairy is waiting for you.
This was overwhelming for Eilen, but not only the rabbit talked, all the animals that lived in that forest could talk, they were taken to the Fairy of Colors, who was nothing more than a beautiful giant butterfly with the colors of the rainbow on its wings, who invited them to tea.

That magical place made Eilen forget the desire to return home, where only a marriage arranged by her father was waiting for her, something that did not bother her, because she did not know anything else, but now she had known another world and she had fallen in love with Marcos, whom her father would never accept.

In the journey through the forest, she fell more in love with Marcos and that magical place, with the smell of happiness, where everything was harmony, above all, where she was free to go everywhere; Marcos proposed marriage to Eilen, she accepted, the Fairy of colors officiate their wedding and gave them a cabin in the surroundings of the forest, both accepted and stayed to live in the Crystal Forest.

Some interesting twists to what Princess' dad had in mind for his daughter. It seems so wrong for a King to arrange a marriage for his young daughter, but at least in the end, she agreed to marry someone of her own will.

There is a duplicate in this section of your story; Please edit.
