You had me at the opening line, @egboncass. It made me smile. And there are several great gems in this story.
“Pregnant” she whispered
“With like a baby???” He asked his mind spiraling as the gravity of her words hit him like a ton of bricks.
That made me laugh out loud, even though it's kind of a serious topic. Finding out you're expecting before it's in the plans can really be life altering! But I liked out he handled it. Really enjoyable story!
