Tree of Life

Soil and air memory, generation after generation, in
thousands of interconnected roots in the now
with the treasures of yesterday, with the fortunes of tomorrow.

The heirs to the ivory tusks are growing up
in the ruggedness of the desert where the feathers fall
and the wind blows them out to sea.

Animals, men and plants are there because they are the greatest
conviction of hope, forever and ever,
you're energy food even for cars.

You figured out the value of fire and Hephaestus plays with you
and with me, on the other side of the earth
the source of the Nile will be the crypt for the God.

In your air is the promise of the detoxified atmosphere
on the ground is the tree of life that supports the
promise to fly in the air, and their next brood.

Saludos, @marcybetancpurt.
