Had to choose wonder and here we go,
LOVE IS A WONDER
Through the hills and the meadows
It stays put like your shadows
A melody sweet as the carols
Wherever you go it follows
If it was but a dream
From which you wake with a scream
With a light reduced to a beam
Reminiscing the taste of ice cream
Whistling as it zooms past
Shredding every ounce of trust
hope that it could last
With dashed faith it leaves you
Hearing it amidst the silence
Saving you from the pestilence
That plagues in its absence
Summoning all to its defence
I see it's power beckoning
There is joy at its reckoning
Love - a beauty of forlorn ebbing
It's a wonder painfully felt at its ending
