The Inkwell poetry challenge| A little girl

A little girl runs through the market
Her honey brown hair looks unkept
Her skin is pale and quite dusty
She reminds me of the homeless kids.

A little girl falls on the street
An angry mob runs up to her
They curse down hell right at her
A little shameless tiny thief.

A little girl gets beaten up
Her tiny voice pleads for mercy
Atleast they heard her tiny sobs
As she promised to never steal again.

A little girl bleeds and cries
I lay low to comfort her
Her sunken stomach rumbles loudly
A bowl of rice was all she needed.

Poverty can push one rondo the unthinkable, maybe be provided for at all times. Love this. Cheers

Thank you dear, it's really sad, especially for the kids in the slum.

It's a hard life down there, heart goes out to them. You're welcome. Now following you as well. Cheers

Really beautiful, greetings.

Thank you, greetings to you too.

It is a poem of a beauty worked in a dramatic way, very interesting. Greetings.
