This is a real drama. Temptation surely led Kane astray. Jessica also. You created a dynamic between the characters that in a longer story could have led to some interesting interactions. One of the mysteries you create begs an explanation: what is behind the mystery surrounding Gofun's kidnapping. Still, the resolution here is strong, as is your adaptation of the prompt.
