You use descriptive language to bring us a tale with lots of potential. It has the makings of an interesting story but is heavily narrated and therefore does not deliver as strongly as it could. The arc feels a bit weak and the resolution and ending are rushed. I am left wondering how their parents knew where to find them in the end and how they were able to break the curse. I'm therefore left with key questions unanswered and wanting more in order to feel completely satisfied at the end.
