Getting into the school and been a beautiful girl she is and also quite rich also, she became the hot cake around. Well probably due to the background she was coming from. She wasn't able to handle the pressure coming to her side when it comes to the demands of associating with friends and of course when I say friends, I mean wrong and bad friends. Well till today I still wonder why pastor sons and daughters always end up in a bad way when it comes to lifestyle, well that's not where I am going today.

At the long run, she begins to flow with what she was not expected to flow with. Sade begins to move with bad friends. At the first stage around her 100-200 level period, she try to hide it from her parents and that is trying to come up with a lot of pretense when she returns back to her parent during the holiday. Well like the always say, you can't keep it for so long. The long awaited prentese begin to manifest in the way she speaks, the songs she listen to and the type of pictures her parents found her taking when going through her phone someday.

They knew something was wrong and her daughter is already going wayward. Well they were able to discern that one of the major things that was contributing was bad friends. Knowing fully well that she was still in 200 levels, they immediately withdraw her from that school, I mean the university of Ibadan. Well it was a hard fought decision taken at home as Sade first of all refuse to be taken away from that university. But with the much pressure from her parents, she later consented.

She was enrolled into another school called the Covenant university. Fast forward after 10 years later, she is now a doctorate in civil and environmental engineering graduating with first class at the Covenant university. Hi @precab, it's good that your friend's parents realized that she had taken the wrong path, they did what was necessary to regain control of their child's life.
It also sounds interesting that the daughter accepted it and now gives thanks, for what they did, since not everyone has such opportunities.

You have the makings of a decent creative non-fiction here but your piece needs more balance and more focus on the great creative aspects of fiction that turn a non-fiction piece into a piece of creative non-fiction. Check out this resource from The Ink Well to understand what is required from a #CNF story. In addition to the above, your story would greatly benefit from some editing. Spelling errors, incorrect verb and noun forms, grammar, and sentence construction could all be improved by using an editor like Grammarly to identify the issues.

Thank you for writing in The Ink Well.

Well, it is good that she ended up well, but I think that in most cases changing schools doesn't solve the problem. The problem is better solved by changing the person's view and not surrounding it. But all the same, thank God it worked out for her.

I guess her parents are lucky she decided to turn a new leaf at her new school. Thank God she focused and turned her life around.
