Happiness is what one should be after, whether you are rich or poor. Do you believe some people don't care about your happiness, whether you are happy or not? They do not care. To the extent that some parents are imposing particular things on their children.
They will dictate to their children the level of education their spouses must attain before they can say yes to anybody. You know what, a caring and loving man or woman will pass them and before they realise their mistakes, it will be too late.
Some parents will be the ones that will choose the course of study for their wards and they will fail to check the area in which this child can perform very well and come out with flying colours.
If the parents impose a course on a child to study at the tertiary institution, if it is not in the interest of the child, it is only the grace of God that will make that child succeed because his/her mind may not be there simply because it was imposed on that child. "Do you know that the richest man in Africa (in the person of Aliko Dangote) did not go to school when he started venturing into business because he was happy and had an interest in the business without being imposed on him and succeeded in business but later, he acquired formal education?"
In terms of marriage affairs, some parents will be the ones to select the husband and wife for their children. They are some calibre of people they used to ask their children to marry. People like Senator's children, ministers' children, governors' children, King's children and so on. And they will fail to acknowledge where the children's happiness is, they will just remain focused on their motives.
Some friends used to give their children hands in marriage to enhance their friendship with the aim that whatever they acquired as wealth will remain in the family and failed to ascertain the happiness of these children.
In most cases, many of these marriages did not last. They will be fighting each other day by day because there is no affection for each other. For instance, "if John meets Susan and develops an interest in her. He will be the one that will approach her and express his feelings toward her. There should be a mutual understanding between both parties, believe me, such a relationship will last long. They would be the ones that will raise and train their wards together in God's way because they are happy in the relationship. The role of the mother in the family is quite different from that of the father, so both parents are very important in children's lives".
The issue of single parents is common throughout the world now. The responsibility of two people will become a burden to only one person. Because of separation, many male and female children had become something else in the society due to one puzzle that is missing.
As we can see that terrorists are everywhere throughout the world. If there is happiness between parents, they will raise God-fearing children thereby, the world will be a conducive place for everyone to live.
