Beautifully said, Amber 🥰 If you know our story, we had only just the week before told our social worker that we were redefining the rules of engagement. We no longer wanted to be competing against other adopters for a child and being knocked out at the final hurdle because of lack of experience etc. If they were interested in us as an adopting couple, they needed to treat us with consideration, compassion, and respect. I read that post of yours where your described about how you were knocked out at the end of the adopting process. It is never easy.
