RE: The Golden Animals and the Faun (Story)

in The Ink Well2 years ago

You write beautifully. This story has the cadence of a legend, and yet it is infused with history. There are some issues with the story, however, that prevent us from curating. The first issue is the image sources. These are beautiful, but it does not seem that all images on i.pinimg.com are public domain. This is an absolute requirement for the Ink Well...either that or a release from the author.

Also, you have written a multi-part story. We do not curate series or chapters. It is possible to render this story so that it fits our guidelines. With just a couple of lines you could tie it up and indicate (perhaps) that the curse continues. In the future you could write a second story, that is again self-contained, which tells us about the destiny of the invaders.

You have talent and it is a pleasure to read your work. We do not curate stories that have graphic violence. Though there is horror in your story, there is no graphic violence.

If you do wish to publish in the Ink Well (we hope you do), it would be best to acquaint yourself with our rules and our Manifesto

We wish you success in your creative endeavors.

ok I understand, if I publish the whole story and correct the images would it comply with the rules?
