This is a charming story, @george-dee. It is very well told, and you've done such a nice job of integrating action, narrative and dialogue. In the beginning there seems to be no conflict, but in a way that creates its own feeling of suspense. The reader knows that something is going to happen, because otherwise why would this story be told? So the suspense builds until the the momentous thing does happen, and then it all resolves very well, so it's a great story arc. Well done!
