This is such a well-written story, @marriot5464. It was very interesting to read both the Pidgin and English. You also did a nice job of integrating action, dialogue and narrative throughout the story.
Retribution or retaliation often comes with the sense of guilt you felt about it, but your neighbor had shown herself to be an opportunist who would only be kind to you when she needed a favor!
