At the outset, please could you correct the image sourcing in your post. All images need to be sourced from royalty-free sites unless they are owned by you, you have express permission to use them, or you hold a licence to use them. You need to state if the images are yours, otherwise you need to provide a URL link to the royalty-free site to the actual photo page of the image used.

We accept two kinds of short stories in The Ink Well: fictional stories and creative nonfiction stories.

And please be sure to engage in the community by reading and commenting on the work of other community members. We ask everyone who post in The Ink Well to read and comment on at least two other stories for each one published.
