This story shows such wisdom. The character begins in a state of isolation. He feels nothing. He won't allow himself to feel anything. He has been wounded, but from that he gained understanding. He was able to share that with the violent lover. Unfortunately, this is the sort of thing you can't tell people. They have to realize it on their own.

You had a really good spot here:

I couldn't continue what I was trying to say because he punched me. Fortunately, he was not a good puncher

This really broke up the tension in the story and added a little relief, almost comic relief to the narrative.

You did a really good job with this @mrnightmare.net. Nice to see you writing.

Thanks, yes, it's hard to say this to people, especially when it includes pride and emotions.

I stopped it with a punch because just like ordinary people expressing their thoughts will be too much. Thanks again
