The story works very well, @restcity. You allow us to share the perspective of both characters, and you do so smoothly. The little dance they do--should I tell her/him now?--serves the narrative stream. We, the readers, are in on the secret. We wait for each of the characters to bend to their inclinations. All the while that delectable moment looms when they will recognize their mutual intent.
