The most effective stories, stories that readers come back to, are those that strike a universal chord. The idea of home does not elude everyone. There are people who feel at home from birth and remain with that sense of belonging for their whole lives. But, for most of humanity, this is a haunting question. Even, sometimes for those who never physically leave "home".

This sense of essential conflict has given rise to some of the world's great literature. From dis-ease, great things may come.
