You deal with a religiously sensitive theme in this story, @ubani, but you do so respectfully. Speculation about real or mythical events is legitimately within the scope of fiction. Your development of the story is good.

It is every day, ordinary. That is how you imagine this event might take place. On that ordinary day the extraordinary happens. The protagonist does not expect to be left out of the Rapture, and yet that is exactly what happens. This looked-for event turns out to be a nightmare for him.
