I've simply read your story at just the right time it was needed. My fingers struggle to cooperate with my brain here lol. This is so much more than a story of Christmas... or Community... or a "post on a decentralized platform". These are words that need to be added to paper. A hard copy made, for other's eyes to see... My eyes filled with tears of wonder, joy, and acknowledgement. Wow... all I can say, is Thank You.

You are very, very kind @wesphilbin. I did feel very 'good' when I wrote this. I think I owe part of that feeling to @valued-customer, who wrote a blog about giving a bicycle to a child and then told me about his Christmas tree (a branch). The bicycle was lacking a seat, but somehow they made due. I think this interaction was the source of my good feeling. My story, The Gift followed, and the good feeling spread--to you and others. Isn't it wonderful? A kind of Christmas gift we can enjoy all year round.
