Honestly I think it's one of many things about the Inkwell that helps us writers improve and grow. Combined with using a word prompt, it makes us consider stories and angles that usually require a lot more thought. It's much easier to write something gripping if we use a prompt of our choosing, and have the freedom to use the shock effect if we choose. And growing as a writer isn't about easy :) .
