@cryptobrewmaster banned on steemit.com

in #censorships4 years ago

Another funny day during the isolation started with @gengua my partner at @cryptobrewmaster message on Telegram: Hey, Andrew, check it out, our page is banned from Steemit.com

me like... wtf? I went out of the flat to make some phone calls and checked out the Twiter notification... ) it was a lot of mentions and so on

The main tweet is:

folowed by ...

And the reason for that is quite simple... I was sitting at home damn bored and started to have fun with Steem-js APIS just to understand how that works) In a few hours I pushed the script that was scanning the chain and if the "palnet" hastag was used the bot did a comment like that:

My bad that I forgot to shut it down and it made a few hundreds of that)) That was the reason our steem account was banned from the steemit.com)

Funny situation, but watching it from the other angle: omg, that chain got CENTRALIZED, it's same as the Facebook, but in charge is a crazy Chinese guy that having issues with bipolar disorder...

Will any real business going to join Steem for promotion after that issue?

Will people wanna advertise there?

The future of Steem is clear: Steem planet population will consist of bots, scammer-loto-casino-useless DAPPS, and some few sick J.SUN supporters)

Do you need that kind of auditory as an advertiser? I don't think so...

Top Witnesses were banned. @themarkymark was banned recently because of one single post promoting Hive. We need to make it viral! RT and ReHive that post to make people know what Steem turned into!!!

And yes please:

Your posts may be hidden from the front end, but your account on chain is still functional, and oh so ripe for value extraction to benefit Hive.

Give it a shot?

You are in a fine group of people.

I am betting that if Steemit works really hard, they could get to 1,000 by the end of the month.
