At least some of the fires were started because utility lines were dropped by trees. Leaving power lines above ground is a continuing hazard power companies refuse to resolve.

A common feature of the more than a dozen arrests for arson in the last few days was fireworks. That may link several of the arsonists if they came from particular sources, which could corroborate the timing of the eruption of several of the fires along I5, which sprang up simultaneously, and suspiciously.
Jeff Acorde, the Puyallup, WA resident that is accused of starting several fires and who is linked to Antifa and BLM, had fireworks with him. Fires started in Clackamas County in Oregon were sparked by fireworks, and numerous reports witnessed fireworks being shot off across Oregon in areas fires devastated.
Sadly, the FBI seems intent on preventing Antifa from being held accountable, already claiming political extremism wasn't behind arson. Let's hope local law enforcement traces taggants and shares that info between jurisdictions, so that the corrupt feds can't hide the guilt of these murderous criminal institutions.
